Around two months ago, a customer from India approached us with a unique requirement: steel pin with models, each with different tolerance levels, both requiring an exceptional level of accuracy for reliable performance, one of them like with 0.4mm diameter. The challenge? Delivering customized manufacturing solutions that would meet these demanding job here, because it still needs to consider the material which rarely to see for us......
Our team test different specifications of raw material to make sure it fits our machine first, and found the qualified mold factory to manufacture, which also to control the mold tolerance.
Model A, shank diameter: 1.0mm(tolerance ±0.02mm), shank length 15.00mm(tolerance ±0.03mm), head diameter:1.9mm(tolerance±0.05mm), thickness:0.45mm (tolerance±0.05mm)
Model B, shank diameter: 0.4mm(tolerance ±0.02mm), shank length 15.00mm(tolerance ±0.03mm), head diameter:0.8mm(tolerance±0.04mm), thickness:0.15mm (tolerance±0.03mm)
But the final machine is not the first machine we quoted to customer due to the high and rigorous demands, so we have to sacrifice the production speed from almost 210 pcs/min to 120pcs/min to verify the quality control. With this adaptable manufacturing setup, we met the customer’s requirements. With changing molds, we realize different models of steel pin. The customer was impressed by our flexibility and our commitment to meeting their specific tolerance needs, ultimately leading to a successful order.
Before one week, they send the engineer for the inspection. After one day, the engineer has learned how to operate the machine and how to change the mold which is amazingly smooth.
For this Indian client, our commitment to quality, flexibility, and accuracy proved crucial in securing this order and building a strong partnership for future projects. At last, I want to express their profession and trust.
